Eric learned to read when he was really young, much like other people. He was read to, along with attempting to read the the books at the beginners level. Eric's dad was an occasional reader as he was growing up which was also an impact on his childhood reading development. His dad was very interested in sports books, biographies and autobiographies. Much like his dad, if Eric were to read a book, it would be either a sports book, biography, or a autobiography. People read to take their mind off of things, to learn, widen their vocabulary, or even just for fun. For one to be a good reader they should stick to one book at a time. Finishing a book you started helps you know the whole story, by following it throughout it will help you become a good reader. What makes reading easy is when you find a good book, finding a good book will keep your mind on the same story making it more interesting and intriguing. The hardest part of reading is when you do not want to read what you have to read, not being interested in the passage is always boring and not very interesting which may cause the reader to forget what the have read easily. Eric does not read very much at home, unless it is a sports article or a reading like that. Reading is a very good skill to have, especially if you are at an advanced reading level.
Eric is not a writer, although he is fairly good at it. Eric learned to write throughout all of his years of school and at home with his parents, much like many other people. People write to keep their mind off of things, for fun, or even to pursue a career. In order for someone to write well, they should have a good vocabulary with a broad range of thinking. Eric does not like to write but if he had to write, he would write about himself, finding that h be the easiest to him. Eric would need to be told to write about in order for him to write. Things that help Eric write the most are a quiet room with dim lighting. Eric never writes at home unless it is homework or a paper for school. Writing is a good skill to have, especially when advanced in that field.
